Aloha!

As I looked back through my posts, I noticed that I haven't mentioned....Hawaii! I DO, however, have a countdown widget right on top of my sidebar, though, that shows the number of days left until our trip! I got an awesome deal on flights - $433/pp roundtrip NONSTOP to Honolulu! AND I have two rooms for six nights FREE at the Marriott at Ko'Olina with my Marriott rewards points! I've always wanted my kids to see the Arizona memorial at Pearl Harbor since their Grandaddy (my daddy) was on the Arizona when it was bombed on Dec. 7, 1941. And NO, I wasn't born then! Lucky for me (and my kids) that he was a survivor! Anyway, we're so very excited about going in June, except Maegan and Courtney can't go, so that makes me sad. Maegan is in nursing school and Courtney doesn't want to leave Zylen yet (although he could go, too! It might be better to wait 'til he's a little bit older - then he can go see the memorial in honor of his GREAT-Grandaddy!)

Behind

I've been so engrossed with facebook that I've neglected my blogspot! These methods of communication are just time-consuming! But a lot of fun, too! So, to catch up - not much has been going on, just waiting for spring break to hurry up and be here!!!! Morgan has been gone to Charlston, SC since Thurs. and should be home any minute now. I've been helping Maegan with her nursing school papers (I'm the editor!) It's 7:30 and still so light - daylight savings time throws me for a loop every time! So, anyway, I'm including a few more pics of Zylen...a couple where he was holding a water bottle with his mouth - it was so funny-looking that I wanted to share it!

Party Day!

Here are a few pictures from Zylen's birthday party....I only have about 250 more. Blogger wouldn't let me put more on this post for some reason, though! I'll add some more in another post. He had the best first birthday party EVER! Perfect sunny day, lots of friends, food and presents...and a bouncy house! He was a very good little boy all day, too. Perfect! Stay tuned for more pics.....
